Now Recharging at TCAF 2026!

It’s been a long time since I’ve posted here! I’m exhibiting at the Toronto Comic Arts Festival this June 6-7, 2026 – and Now Recharging Book 4 will be making its print debut there! (Stay tuned for my table number/location – I’ll update this post as soon as I know where I’ll be, haha. UPDATE: Here we are with a map and shoutouts! On the Basketball Court at 073 with my friend om-nom-berries!)

The existing Books 1-3 have gold foil stamping, which was quite an expense, so Book 4 doesn’t and and future reprints of 1-3 won’t… so get those while the shiny lasts!

In addition to Now Recharging Book 4, I’ll also be debuting a cute little minizine, “hamster meditation”, featuring a small softie from my current webcomic, 1 small quiet somewhere. I’ll also be participating in some fun on-site activities with the Screen Tones Webcomic Podcast and Cartoonists United!

TCAF is definitely one of my favourite summer events in the city, and it’s free to check out! If you’ll be in Toronto the first weekend of June, and you love comics and art and stories, I hope you’ll consider making some time for this wonderful, inspiring festival. In addition to the exhibitors themselves, there’s also fantastic programming throughout the weekend! (Shout-out to my friend Keet Geniza who’s part of an exciting Sunday panel on Filipino Komiks Creators!)

The pandemic combined with my family’s high-risk situation means that it remains challenging for me to be able to participate in a lot of community events. TCAF does encourage masking to help increase accessibility for immunocompromised community members, which I’m extremely grateful for! I’ll be fully-masked at the event.

For reading all this way, here’s something fun I went through while preparing my table display: old handmade Now Recharging signs I made for past events!
