About a week ago I did my art year-in-review, an annual reflecting on creative output and thinking about what to focus on next. To be honest, I don’t tend to think of things in terms of a “good year” or a “bad year” – mentally, I just don’t seem to perceive blocks of time in that way. But the reality is 2019 has been one full of major ups and downs, losses and joys all rolled together. It’s truly been an eventful, meaningful year. Many things – personal, creative, and more – came together, sometimes unexpectedly.
I’m immensely grateful for the time I was able to spend with my family, and for all the memories that 2019 will leave me with.
May 2020 be a year that brings you what you want – and more than that, what you need. May you be challenged in rewarding ways!
