Chapter 6 page 3

A wooden bridge with a small gazebo at the opposite side spans a river lined with trees. It is lush and green, and the faint silhouette of a person can be seen on the other side. The same bridge appears in a winter scene, covered with snow. The trees are bare, and no one is there. Similarly, a view from the bridge of the river, full of water and green plants, is followed by a cold wintry view. Patches of snow and dead grass can be seen in the dry riverbed.
