Author’s notes: A shout-out to my friend Delphina’s wonderful worlds-hopping adventure Sombulus! The Kickstarter for the webcomic’s latest book recently fully-funded! The campaign ends this Sat, May 8, 2021 (3 PM EDT) and there are still a bunch of fun stretch goals – including artwork from me! It would be awesome if we can hit them! 😀
If you enjoy family-like relationships and puns (I know I do – I mean, that’s why they are in Now Recharging), you’ll likely find a lot to adore about Sombulus. It also has a lovingly-crafted, fantastical journey that amazes me with its layers and nuances. The characters are so charming, and the writing is really clever. I look forward to the updates every week, and I highly recommend it!
