10th anniversary celebration: Welcome to Fair Day!

Believe it or not: It’s been ten years since I made Now Recharging! What!! In celebration, please enjoy this completely new set of desktop and mobile wallpapers featuring our special robot (and hologram) hosts. Decorate your computer or your smartphone with your favourite flavour of friendly, helpful face!

This idea, a kind of Fair Day cafe/host club, is actually something I’ve wanted to draw for a long time. The last time I attempted it was apparently December 2021. You can see how far I got below:

Hahaha. It’s interesting how my style has evolved in terms of how I’d approach drawing them.

A few other little updates:

  • Emmie’s birthday was back on August. It’d been years since I’ve drawn Emmie, and here they are flying high with some fluffy sheep balloons!
  • Minor website tweaks: Back in the spring I made some minor adjustments to the website to make a more evergreen homepage (if you’ve visited this site recently you’ll likely have noticed it!) And a few weeks ago I updated the archive page to include a new Misc section (you can see it at the bottom) for all my non comic posts/announcements like this one. They usually have freebies or news about various projects Now Recharging appears in, so I thought it’d be nice to collect them to make them easier to find.

A bit short notice over here, but for anyone in or near the Greater Toronto Area (Canada), I’ll be exhibiting at the first ever Grafficker Alley festival celebrating self-published comics, zines and art! It’s free to check out, and I’ll have 10th anniversary promos for Now Recharging. Come say hi if you’re in the area!
